  • What a great turnout from the footwear industry for the FFANY opening night event held on June 2 at the fabulous Brasserie 8 1/2. Through this event, FFANY is proud to support Shoes That Fit and donate $20,000 to this special organization that helps children in need of footwear.  It was also great to award the winners of the Joseph C. Moore scholarship to attend the Ars Sutoria school in Milan, Italy & classes in NYC.  View photo gallery.

  • SAVE THE DATE - The 22nd annual QVC Presents "FFANY Shoes On Sale" gala and charitable shoe sale to benefit breast cancer research, education and awareness will be held on October 19, 2015 at the fabulous Waldorf Astoria.  Also, be sure to tune into QVC for the entire month of October and shop FFANY member footwear brands - all to raise funds for a cure.  To date, over 1 million pairs of shoes have been sold and FFCF (The Fashion Footwear Charitable Foundation of NY) has donated more than $47 million to distinguished medical institutions.   • FFANY & Ars Sutoria School in Milan, Italy proudly announce the winner of the Joseph C. Moore Footwear Scholarship to Hideki Sato, a graduating senior at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT).  2nd place was awarded to Blair Moore from Parsons, and a 3rd place tie was awarded to Emmanuel Nunez from Parsons and Denise Lee from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD).  The winning scholarship includes a 13-week shoe patternmaking and prototyping course, accommodation and airfare – valued at $17,500.  All 4 top finalists will receive the Ars Sutoria E-Learning course, an online program which focuses on shoemaking and technical aspects.  All winners will also recognized at the FFANY industry event to be held on June 2nd, 2015.  View Press Release.
